No, we are not going to hike the full 4.9 miles it shows. Only two miles total

Description of area

Scared when you saw the name Dreaded Hill? Do not worry, we are just walking to the base of that hill. Slight grade going up one mile on the dirt trail, then we turn around and come back. Two miles total. We did this hike in June of last year.

The trail for the most part is smooth but there are ruts on some parts. We will go under oak trees at times. Last week we saw deer with fawns!

Park and meet in the parking lot of Wahoo’s Tacos and Starbucks

Come early for Sunrise Bagel and Starbucks. Stick around after the hike for Wahoo’s Tacos, right at the trailhead parking.
