A brand new resource for the greater Springfield, Il area forming a strong, effective support system for people living with Parkinson's and their care partners.

Welcome to PD Buzz, the number one source for Parkinson’s programs, services, and support in the greater Springfield, Il area.  Getting a Parkinson’s Disease diagnosis can be overwhelming for the person with the diagnosis and those who care for and love them.  We want to help you get connected with the greater Springfield, IL community and help you find Parkinson’s doctors, specialists and services that you need to live well with Parkinson’s Disease. There are support groups, exercise classes, educational events and people living well with Parkinson’s right here in Springfield. The information on this site should set you in the right direction, but please contact us if you would like more information.  

PD Buzz is the newest effort of Friends Living with Parkinson’s, a peer support group in the greater Springfield, IL area. We welcome participants, both men and women of all races, ethnicities, and ages and at every stage of the disease to join with us on our journeys to lead purposeful lives

Friends Living with Parkinson’s (FRIENDS) is excited to be partnering with PD Buzz, a small group of people living with Parkinson’s in in Orange County, California. FRIENDS shares their goal to offer you an easy to use, complete website that will provide a pathway to local resources which you can explore and consider (or utilize) as you choose. PD Buzz of Orange County has graciously offered their assistance and given us permission to replicate their wonderful website with Springfield,IL specific resources.  FRIENDS is very grateful to PD Buzz.
